Question

I am currently a second year mechanical engineering student from georgia tech.  I am interning and cant see myself being an engineer forever.  I have decided to pursue a medical career.  I am going to start taking my pre health classes next semester and will finish with two sem of bio, two sem of organic, and biochem by december of 2012.  I will hopefully take the MCAT in the spring or summer of 2013.  My gpa is 3.6.  I want to gain acceptance into mercer school of medicine.  At this point, I would just like some advice on anyway to boost my application since im so late in the game.  I am volunteering at a hospital and shadowing during my internship and will  research in a bio related field once I get back.  For anyone who got into mercer, morehouse, and medical college of georgia what were your stats if you dont mind me asking.  Thanks in advance.
